RISD Pre-College
For five weeks you’ll follow a college-level curriculum with day-long studio classes, critiques, and projects. In this immersive setting on-campus at the Rhode Island School of Design, you’ll live like a RISD student, access renowned resources and instructors, strengthen your portfolio, and forever change the way you approach art and design. Grade 11 & 12 students are welcome to apply.
Teen Summer Programs - Emily Carr University of Art + Design
The Summer Institute (ages 16 - 18) is a one month, immersive art + design program where you can rapidly develop your creativity & build portfolios, serving as a pre-university experience, while exploring future paths. The Jr. Arts Institute (ages 12 - 15) is a two-week summer program focused on foundational skills. Both programs offer sub-streams like animation, painting, graphic design and a final summer exhibition for teens. Learn more by clicking below.
Volunteer Opportunities
UBC Geering Up - Jr. Instructor
Junior Instructors are high school or university students who lend a helping hand at our clubs and camps. Junior Instructors are invited to work closely alongside our instructor team to deliver and share STEM to youth in a hands-on and dynamic learning environment. This involves some curriculum development, assisting with lesson delivery, materials preparation, teaching opportunities, and more.
